After nearly two years of waiting, Under Night In-Birth fans will finally be able to enjoy the Late[st] version of the game! Famitsu announced today that Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], which has been played in Japanese arcades for almost two years, will be getting a release on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. We were given a taste of what is to come in this teaser shot!

As you can see, we can expect at least one new character, in addition to the two characters that have been added to the arcade versions since the last console release, Mika and Phonon. In addition to the new challenger, Enkido, we will also get new system and balance changes that will bring console users up to date with the arcade version in Japan.

The first console release of French Bread’s UNIB saw massive popularity in the North American competitive scene, so this news will no doubt appease the hordes of fans who have been clamoring for a new console release.
