With Final Round 20 being only days away, Atlanta is getting ready to host its biggest fighting game tournament yet. Larry “Shinblanka” Dixon, the lead tournament organizer for Final Round, has been running the event for 20 years–and had a few hiccups to overcome from last year’s iteration.

Michael Martin talked to him about the event series in the latest episode of Conversations and Fireballs. In it, they talk about the issues that plagued the event last year–namely the space restraints, that have since been resolved. They also talk about the partnership with Capcom, and the difficulties of being the inaugural stop on the Capcom Pro Tour.
