In an announcement last night, Arizona tournament series Undefeated declared that their Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 events would be run on the PlayStation 4 version of the game, meaning that both their tournament singles and Curleh Mustache event will be run on the PS4.

According to Angelic–who has plenty of pedigree in UMvC3, with two top 3 Evo finishes under his belt–the PS4 port of the game is excellent, and it is stable for offline play. Angelic did warn that if problems do emerge before the tournament, Undefeated will revert back to the Xbox 360 version of UMvC3.

Undefeated–which takes place on February 4 and 5–marks the first major Marvel tournament to make the switch to the PS4 version of UMvC3, and will likely set the tournament standard going forward.
