Learn About Amane’s New Midscreen Pressure in BlazBlue: Central Fiction

Amane Nishiki is a fairly niche character in the BlazBlue series. His first appearance in BlazBlue: Chronophantasma wasn’t the most spectacular despite his affinity for drama and the stage. While he used to be a relatively low-tier character, the drill and chip-damage specialist received a more well-rounded toolset in Central Fiction.

Eshi, also known as “One Punch Amane,” compiled a useful overview where he explains some of Amane’s options for midscreen okizeme, or wake-up pressure. Since Amane is a stronger character now, the guide is also helpful for those who don’t plan on using this character, as the knowledge of his options could serve well in tournament play. Eshi¬†lists a few ways to get around Amane’s attacks¬†and keep in mind that many characters could have escape tools specific to them.
