The most sought-after cat-sensei, Jubei, may be making his way onto the playable cast of BlazBlue: Central Fiction soon. By digging around in the game’s files, users found announcer data saying the character’s name:

There are also sound clips of each of the system voices calling Jubei out in different ways, like Kokonoe calling Jubei “old man” when he is selected.

Keep in mind however, that this doesn’t confirm the character just yet, and it’s not possible to predict when Arc System Works will add him — if they add him at all. For instance, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma contained voice clips and character retorts for Hibiki Kohaku, but the developer didn’t add him until Central Fiction.

We’ll keep our ears out sharp for an official Jubei trailer should Arc System Works ever let the cat out of the bag.
