As we previously reported, Sega is set to bring Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX to North America this year, but new details added to the title’s GameStop listing may provide a clearer indication of when fans in the west will get their hands on it.
Apparently, this French-Bread developed property is scheduled to launch on August 25. This lines up with both the normal video game release scheduled as well as earlier reports that FIGHTING CLIMAX would arrive sometime in the summer. The title originally appeared on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on November 13.
FIGHTING CLIMAX mixes together characters from various light novels published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint. With sources like Sword Art Online, Accel World, Durarara!!, and Oreimo, all of which now have anime adaptations, there’s sure to be a ton of draw for both hardcore fighting fans and casual players alike.
At this point in time, there is little official word to corroborate this information, but much larger spoilers have come from online listings in the past. Stay tuned for an update should we hear from Sega themselves on this matter.
