While already featuring one of the highest cumulative prize pools our community has ever seen, Evo 2015 continues to receive support from the developers behind its official lineup. Earlier this morning, Atlus announcd that they will be providing an additional $10,000 to the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax pot at the largest fighting game tournament in the world.
UPDATE (3:49 PM PDT) – Evo’s organizers have just announced that Arc System Works and Aksys Games will be providing yet another $10,000 bonus, only to the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- pool instead. Yo anime!
This news comes in addition to Capcom, Warner Bros., NetherRealm Studios, Microsoft Studios, and Iron Galaxy Studios providing $50,000 bonuses to their respective titles. That’s a ridiculous amount of cash for those of you keeping track at home.
Already a phenomenon within our scene, these added monetary bonuses are sure to make players compete that much harder for a chance to secure their spot in the upper echelons during finals day. Don’t miss out!
Evo 2015 is scheduled for July 17-19. More details can be found through its official website.
