It is with heavy hearts that we have to, yet again, report on that a community member has been taken from us much too soon. Terrance Moore, who went by the name PushaTee and represented the Crazy 88 Clan, collapsed while attending The Runback last night and was quickly rushed to an area hospital. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, Moore unfortunately passed away.

Moore was an avid member of the Killer Instinct scene that frequently made trips to Super Arcade in Southern California to compete. According to close friend Brian “MrGrimmmmz” Rincon, he was an incredibly welcoming person who touched many lives during his time.

Much like previous events of this nature, the community has already come together to support. Super Arcade’s Mike Watson is currently working closely with Moore’s wife to set up an official donation drive and will be sending all of the proceeds made off wristbands at tonight’s Console Casuals her way. Additionally, r/Kappa’s fgcdrmike has set up a YouCaring page to gather funds for funeral costs and Rincon will be doing something similar in the near future.

UPDATE (3:34 PM PDT) – Super Arcade’s official YouCaring campaign is now live.

As these developments are still ongoing, we will provide updates along the way for those that wish to donate.

Our love goes out to all of Moore’s friends and family during this tragedy. Feel free to provide your respects in the comments below.

Rest in peace.

Condolences to his friends and family. From what was on stream it sounded like everyone there did their absolute best for him during that truly horrifying situation. RIP

  • Darklurkr23

Just saw the video and RIP.

I couldn’t tell on the video, but did anyone try CPR? Cause from what I heard it was just panic. That might be a good idea to offer basic CPR session at CEO/ EVO 2015 this year in remembrance.

  • Garrett Jones

Death is not really a bad thing? Maybe everyone should be in a rush for this life to end to start the afterlife?

    • Edwin Obando Chacon

Im pretty sure he didnt mean that, but about having the hope of our beloved ones who passed away are in a better place, despite if you are believer or not.

    • Mark Markson

Did you really come here to argue on a RIP page? Truly unbelievable.
As Edwin said it was to hope that he is in Heaven for all eternity. A place much better than this earth.
It was also a post to get people to think of where they go when they die. Is he in a dark void of nothing or is it more than that? Please don’t respond to this.

      • Alex Davies

Did you really come here to push your rediculous skydaddy fairytale dogma on a RIP page? Disgusting. Keep it to yourself.

My condolences go out to PushaTee’s friends and family.

May God watch over Moore and his family.

It is heart wrenching to see such a young individual lose his life in such a way, but this goes to show just how suddenly someone can leave your life. To see Nelson go and now Moore in such a short span of time is terrible.

I am happy to see that the FGC has come together and will do whatever they can to support the Moore Family & those who knew him well. Through out the fearless competition, frustration, and at times even despise towards one another, that we always remember that the one we play against is a human being who came from a mother and father, with a loving family and friends.

Let us never forget that regardless of where we are in competition, and once again, my Prayers will go out to Moore and his Family.

And the chat when it happened… this “community” sickens me sometimes. Grow the fuck up FGC. You should be ashamed.

  • j95lee

Was it another case of seizure? That seems to be common cause of death for FG competitors.

  • Claudia

He was a great friend. I will miss him. Condolences to his family.

  • SiriusBusiness

Thank you for illustrating my point so perfectly. See comment above. Your comment isn’t even a troll, but an example of a poor excuse for a human being. Trust me, if I was YOUR mom, I would definitely be ashamed I raised someone with absolutely no couth or decency. I’m sure she’s very proud of you right now.

  • Rockz

    RIP, man. 🙁

  • Fist Hokuto

Sounds like it was an Aneurysm was a possible cause of death. Sad though, R.I.P

  • Theresa Jenkins

Condolences to his family and friends.

  • JimJam

Too many people dying too young. It’s a shame you can just die for little to no reason. You never expect this kind of stuff to happen to your friends.
