After running a variety of location tests and teasing new additions to the latest installment of their BlazBlue series, Arc System Works is ready to unleash Chronophantasma ver.2.0.

According to Dengeki Online, the update will be making its way to arcades in Japan on October 9, bringing with it a number of gameplay updates as well as two new playable characters: Celica A. Mercury, who works in tandem with partner Minerva as a good introductory character, and Lambda-11, a returning fighter that excels at long-range combat.

If you aren’t up to speed with what’s being changed in this update, a few details can be found in our previous report.

No word has yet to be released as to when console players can expect to see these changes made to their version of the game. For now, feel free to check out BlazBlue: Chronophantasma’s new main visual below.
