Anyone who grew up playing the Darkstalkers series would be hard-pressed not to smile when hearing the game’s title track. Memories of making friends and enemies through shoulder-to-shoulder combat, sinking a full week of lunch money into the then-new cabinet during Saturday morning training sessions come flooding back, the last remains of those times (and quarters) lost.

Yesterday, Capcom announced the availability of the Darkstalkers soundtrack through Amazon. Weighing in at over thirty tracks, this compilation features a few songs for each character including their stage, victory, and ending themes. Add in the unforgettable intro song and demo reels of all the sound effects and this collection is sure to take you back to that mid-90s battleground.

This is the same OST that was included with the Vampire Sound Box released in Japan last year, which may mean we’ll see the other discs make their way online in the future.

This collection is currently set at $8.99. Feel free to follow the link below and check it out for yourself.
