When Persona 4 Arena came out on PS3 a couple of years ago, it ruffled more than a few feathers when it became the first and only game on that system to be region locked.  For its follow up however, Atlus has announced via press release this morning that they will not be doing the same thing and that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will not be region locked in the Americas. You can check out the accompanying tweet below

This is great news for folks in regions such as Europe who now have the option to import instead of having to wait longer for their version of the game.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is set to release on PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 in North America sometime this fall. In the meantime you can check out this new trailer for the game.
