After announcing the project during last year’s Comic-Con, Udon Entertainment’s Darkstalkers: Official Complete Works collection is now available in stores throughout North America. This artbook is a thing of beauty, collecting a ridiculous amount of official artwork, tribute pieces, interviews, and more into one amazing 224-page package.

Udon provided a quick look at a handful of pages that are included in the collection, which may help those of you who are hesitant about dropping $40. Check out the previews below and let us know what you think of book if you’ve already had a chance to pick one up for yourself.

Odd, most Capcom fans now a days prefer gay shit. Not enough men on men.

      What?

How are art books “gay shit”. Books are great and game sprites are art.

Capcom followed Udon’s announcement by saying that if this sells an undisclosed amount of copies in an undisclosed amount of time, they might consider possibly bringing back the Darkstalkers franchise.

    Maybe.

Speaking of art, @iantothemax some months ago Capcom announced there was going to be a free SF comic out on FCBD. Well, the comic is out! You can get it at participating comic book stores.

Some interesting stories happening there, filling out spots between SF4 and SF3.

  • This is a pretty slick book, I’ve had a copy for a couple weeks now. Storyboards for the DS3 opening are a nice touch, as are all the design revisions for the characters.

Wow, this is really cool. Vampire Savior is still one of the better fighting games ever made. Plus, only $28 on Amazon, not the $40 list price.
