Atlus’ Latest Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold Trailer Gives Us a Glimpse of Labrys’ New Shadow Mode Form

After showing showing off the new cast members, Atlus is now moving onto Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold’s returning faces. Similar to previous trailers, this one showcases a bit of Labrys’ story mode as well as her gameplay.

The end of the trailer also gives us a short glimpse of Shadow-Type Labrys–not Shadow Labrys, mind you, but regular Labrys in the Shadow-Type form that’s available to all characters except Sho Minazuki, Elizabeth, and (of course) Shadow Labrys. For those who aren’t familiar with them, Shadow characters gain a special Shadow Rampage mode that gives them unlimited meter for a limited amount of time, but they do not have access to defensive options such as Bursts and Awakenings.

Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold hits PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 28, and both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America sometime in the fall.
