After being left out in the cold while their PlayStation 3 counterparts were enjoying Skullgirls Encore, fans on Xbox 360 will soon find their versions of the fighter brought to parity with other platforms. The title’s latest update is currently rolling out across Microsoft’s servers, bringing with it a variety of changes to both its basic gameplay and existing cast.

If you own a copy of Skullgirls on 360, you’ll need to grab the ~823 MB compatibility update from the Xbox Live Marketplace to bring it up to the new Encore specifications. If you downloaded the previous title update that appeared this weekend, you may need to delete it from your system.

On top of this good news, Xbox players also won’t have to wait long to get their hands on Squigly and Big Band. Both should be ready by 12:00 PM PDT tomorrow, available to download free of charge within the first three months of their release.

While you wait, feel free to brush up on the full list of gameplay changes included in Encore update.
