After an excellent weekend of competition at NorCal Regionals 2014, Capcom has updated their hub site for Capcom Pro Tour with the tournament’s Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 results.

Thanks to his powerful performances against players like Infiltration, fellow Evil Geniuses team member K-Brad, and Alex Valle of Level|Up Series, Eduardo “PR Balrog” Perez has joined Ryan Hart as the second player to qualify for Capcom Cup’s grand finals in December.

But straight-up qualifiers will only comprise half of the event’s bracket, making the ranking points earned by placing in a pro tour tournament extremely important for players who don’t manage to take home first at a premier competition like NorCal Regionals.¬†Below, you’ll find a list of the figures who rank in the top eight of Capcom’s official standings.

Rank Name Country Character(s) Points
1 EG|PR Balrog USA Balrog, Evil Ryu 449
2 EG|Justin Wong USA Rufus 354
3 Ryan Hart UK Sagat 320
4 Infiltration Korea Akuma, Chun-Li 258
5 EG|K-Brad USA Cammy 242
6 EG|Ricky Ortiz USA Rufus 178
7 FUR|Valmaster France Chun-Li 129
8 MCZ|Mago Japan Fei Long 128

A full look at the standings can be found here.

While the Capcom Pro Tour will be taking a bit of a break this weekend, the beginning of May is set to include ranking tournaments Stunfest, Northwest Majors VI, and Hypemania 2014, so stay tuned.

“A Player may qualify only for one spot at the Capcom Cup. Players who have qualified for the Capcom Cup are allowed to continue entering Tournaments and gaining Ranking Points, but should they win another Premier Tournament or place amongst the top 6 players in Ranking Points on the Cutoff Date, the spot goes to the next eligible Player.” – directly from the Capcom Cup website
