
In celebration of the release of Super Street Fighter IV CR Edition, a pachinko game based on the SFIV series, pachinko manufacturer Heiwa and Capcom are teaming for a special event today in Japan. In attention some pachinko play with a number of guest stars, there will also be a tournament for Super Street Fighter IV proper, featuring eight of Japan’s top players. Play will be first-to-3 matches until the final, which will be first-to-5.
Capcom producer Koichi Sugiyama and assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano will also be present at the event to show off a bit of Ultra Street Fighter IV. You can catch the tournament action and more from Niconico Live below.
