Kenneth “K-Brad” Bradley Joins Evil Geniuses

With players like Justin Wong, Ricky Ortiz, Eduardo “PR Balrog” Perez, Yusuke Momochi, and Yuko “ChocoBlanka” Kusachi already part of their fighting game roster, one would have a hard time finding a handful of teams better than Evil Geniuses, and today they’ve grown even stronger.

It was just announced through the organization’s official website that Kenneth “K-Brad” Bradley will be bringing his dominating Cammy skills to their competitive team. Bradley first made a splash in the community by defeating Korean master Seonwoo “Infiltration” Lee, who was thought at the time to be unbeatable, at Season’s Beatings Ascension, and has gone on to place high at numerous tournaments across the country.

“I’m more than thrilled to have K-Brad on the team,” EG’s director of player operations Antonio Javier states in the official announcement. “He not only has the propensity to beat domestic and international players alike, but he does so with a character that already gives most players trouble — Cammy.”

In his own statement, Bradley says he’s excited to being this new journey and thanks Wong for getting him there in the first place. “I definitely will work very hard for this organization and for my teammates. I couldn’t be any happier if I tried.”

FUCKING CALLED IT!!!! (check comment section on article about Floe leaving)
That’s the reason they let Floe go

  • BlackMasamune

    EG poaching EMP again.

    • Rageous

It’s not poaching if EMP has no sponsors.

  • Carlos Alvarez Bailleres

Wasn’t he was supposed to retire 4 months ago because of hand problems?

Anyway, congrats. If we are going to have Cammy in all her brokenness dominate the scene, at least let it be an American one.

K-Brad has certainly earned it and it’s great that EG is supporting the
scene, but I feel like Chris G was the obvious choice. Sadly, it’s not
about skill or accomplishments. Unlike professional sports, where egos
and showboating can turn fans and management against players, in the FGC
it’s applauded and encouraged. I enjoy it, but to see players who talk
big, turn out Youtube videos, and talk shit get advancement while the
quiet talented player sits in obscurity is incredibly frustrating. It’s
all about who you know and how you present yourself, not about just
skill. K-Brad is a big personality, and Chris G is at best restrained
and bland on camera, and at worst, a whiner who can’t acknowledge
defeat. That’s fine but it doesn’t sell headsets and keyboards.

need more than one big sponsor so that more guys get a chance based
purely on skill, not a portion of skill, theatrics, and who you know. I
love K-Brad and would only choose a few guys over him that deserve it
more. Chris G has more tournament wins in the last 2 years than the entire
roster of EG players combined and then some. Reward talent, not
    friendships and goofy faces.

lololololol chris g’s #1 fan right here

    • Mike Jones

Yeah i’m kind of suprised myself that Chris G. didn’t make it in. He seems like a cool guy. Also his record doesn’t lie either. Then again he already has a new sponsor. GamesterGear.

      • ReddChief78

That was just to go to Final Round, he’s still not sponsored.

        • Mike Jones

Oh wow i thought they were a permanent sponsor. Good to know. Well that’s kind of sad. Dammit Chris G. 🙁

Almost every single organization that deals with any sort of competition (games, sports etc.) requires that people try to present themselves with a good image. There are outliers but that is mostly true. ChrisG isn’t very well liked and for good reason. He is a whiner, he doesn’t speak professionally, he says extremely ignorant and stupid things consistently and generally comes off as sort of a terrible person which would make him a bad representative of any product. It would do more damage to the company than benefit.

It wouldn’t be that hard for Chris to fix his image by just being a pretty nice person but he isn’t smart enough to even acknowledge that. He acts like an immature teenager and hasn’t quite figured out that the world doesn’t revolve around him. When he does, the money, the respect and the applause will be there.

If you have ever heard ChrisG in an interview then you know why EG won’t touch him. They want popular community figures who can be sales and marketing reps.

ChrisG has results, but he doesn’t bring much else to a marketing organization.

  • RobertEspaillat

    fuck ye let go

  • Jason Slade

EG is still Team Divekick. All we need now is for PR Rog to switch mains over to E.Ryu and it will be complete.

Kbrad also seems like a pretty good guy and funny as hell as well so much congratulations to him and EG!
