Evolution 2012 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Champion Ryan “Filipino Champ” Ramirez has found a new home. Revolution Gaming’s Joe Kruty recently announced over Twitter that the Northern California native will be joining their team’s growing roster of players.

Ramirez, alongside friend and fellow FGTV member Long “ShadyK” Tran, parted ways with his former sponsor compLexity Gaming back in February after nearly three years of being with the team. At Revolution Gaming, he joins other notable fighting game players such as Rico Suave, K-Brad, Masta CJ, and Sonic Fox.

Champ had this to say about the new partnership in a quick word to Shoryuken.

I am very excited to work with Revolution Gaming. I’m usually very picky with the details of my sponsorship but Revolution Gaming made it happen. Now it’s my turn to make happen for them and represent them the best way I know.

Shoutouts to Joseph Kruty for being patient with me.

He also mentioned more changes coming in the next two weeks, so stay tuned.

Filipino Champ will be competing under the Revolution Gaming banner this weekend at Final Round XVII in Atlanta, Georgia.
