Team Spooky recently provided replays of the Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 exhibitions that took place at Winter Brawl 8 this past weekend. If you weren’t able to catch them live, just know that they feature AVerMedia’s GamerBee taking on two of the United States’ best players, Zeus of Team PIE and Empire Arcadia’s Sanford Kelly, with his Adon.

In an effort to avoid spoilers, we’re not going to say anything beyond that, so be sure to check out the matches below. Full results from the event can be found in our coverage hub.

I saw this in person. It was more of a IDK the matchup thing with zeus. As far as sanford Idk what happend just got bodied i suppose.

it looks like the other way around zeus understood the matchup to some degree “at times” blocking wakeup pressure from adon and showed understanding of proper spacing during the matchup in certain spots. gamerbee was just the stronger player with a matchup advantage that’s a nightmare for vega. Sanford didn’t really know the matchup. that’s why there was no clear way to decipher why he was so ineffective. he was just lost out there. he didn’t know how to block adon “vortex” on wakeup or understand which crossup attempts he should engage in which he should just block…he tried to use proper spacing but wasn’t really sure wat normals or strategies he should be abusing from the ranges he was trying to fight from.
