The latest installment of Arc System Works’ BlazBlue series will soon find a new home. According to Siliconera, this week’s edition of Dengeki PlayStation included the announcement that a PlayStation Vita port of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma is currently in development. The handheld version will be able to share downloadable content with its console counterpart, and will also include arcade revisions and exclusive beach events.
UPDATE – Gematsu is reporting that Chronophantasma for PlayStation Vita will arrive in Japan on April 24. It will retail at ¥5800 (~$56 USD).
This continues Arc System Works’ recent trend of providing mobile ports of their popular fighting games for players to enjoy on the go. Could we possibly see Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold receive the same treatment when it heads to PlayStation 3 later this year?
