It’s no secret that C. Viper is one of the most technical characters in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012. Her inherent technicality—which stems from her vast array of super jump and feint cancels—can be off-putting to players looking to her pick up. This video, created by israpladon,  not only teaches players how to successfully execute her feints, but also offers insight into which feints are absolutely required and which ones are merely for show.

Israpladon also suggests that the classic car crush bonus stage serves much better as a training ground for this type of maneuver than the typical training stage, due to the inability to cause pushback on the car no matter how many times you hit it.

    I don’t see the practical use of the raw fierce feint, other than being flashy.

      If the opponent is watching for the seismo, you can force them to jump, which leaves you with more options. If they’re far, when they land from their jump, you can land them on another seismo, you can crossup burno kick, close the distance, whatever you want.

      If they’re close, you can anti air, crossup burn kick, start pressure, w/e. Also, some people use it’s invincibility frames when they are up close.

        Then you should just do a regular seismo feint. And not and thunderknuckle feint. You’re not gonna bait anything with a fake DP full screen away.
