Steam Holiday Sale 2014

If you’ve been waiting to pick up some Fighting games on PC, wait no more! With most titles marked down to 50% off their original price, now is the perfect time to grab PC versions of your favorite games for yourself and your friends.

If these prices aren’t low enough, Steam also rotates in new flash sales every eight hours that offer better deals. As an added bonus, a community vote option pops up once per eight hour window and lets users pick which games should be marked down even more. To participate, visit the Steam homepage, log in and be sure to vote on anything from the Fighting genre that pops up. Here is a list of current offerings (prices in USD):

The sale runs from now until January 3rd. Don’t miss out! You could even pick up some games from another genre on the cheap, too—but why would anyone do that?

Don’t be a dumb fuck and buy any of these games unless they are:
    a) a daily feature sale
    b) a flash sale; or,
    c) a community choice.

If, at the end of the sale, the game you intend to buy never made it to any of those choices, purchase on the final day before sales end. You’ll save yourself even more money.

I wish I could be excited about this but I’ve already bought all those games on Steam

I already got fucked over as an EU Injustice pre orderer by the day after release it going on 50% discount because of the VGX. Good luck to the rest I guess

Generally if you email valve when something like that happens they’ll refund you the discount.

I did right as it happened, and I basically got told “nah bro, nah”
