With Skullgirls removal from PlayStation Network and Xbox Live right around the corner, a bit of good news recently surfaced about the title’s future as we move into the new year. First off, its delisting on PSN has been pushed back from today to December 31, matching XBL and allowing the team some leeway as they work to get a new version ready for publishing.
Following this news, the Lab Zero Games website was updated with information on how the transition from the original game will work. The studio is working to make Skullgirls Encore available sometime next month, though the shift will work differently depending on the system and the region players hail from.
In addition, Squigly will also be made available free of charge for three months after the new title appears on both digital platforms.
The entire list of details has been included below, so be sure to check it out if you’re looking to continue playing Skullgirls after the transition.
