I’m pulling for Sako and Haitani to win this. Also, shout outs to Chris G getting 0-2’d like a pro.

    • i would not so easily doubt his clutch or sak’s cheapness

      • wes yoshida

I would not overestimate Chris G when it comes to SF, there are no Ibukis or Evil Ryus in NY, he’ll be eaten alive.

        • RobertEspaillat

in New York We have a Evil his name is Little Evil he as made Top 3 before on BC and we used to have a really good Ibuki but he move back to France. But is Sako he is in another Level and he still has Gen as a back up

          • Edu Alonso Carrasco

Sako has the 50% of the cast as Backup

          • b0tes

Damascus was the Ibuki player and he showed up to the weekly TS gatherings.

He and ChrisG went at it on a number of occasions, and is a solid I bulk player but there is only one Sakonoko.

  • DWU

    I’m getting excited.

  • Brandon Michaels

I bet the japanese players will all win their matches

    • Guest

Wait…did they actually make it so that no single Japanese player has to play against another in the first round?

      • Spabobin

That’s not unreasonable. The Japanese play each other all the time, it would be just as dumb as if Infiltration and Laugh both qualified and played first round. We don’t get to see matchups like these that often

        • Brandon Michaels

          a little unreasonable

  • Forgive me for not staying up to date with this stuff, but what happened to Daigo?

    • Hamjam

      He didn’t qualify.

  • BlackMasamune

The winner of SFIV should face Sanford in a FT5.

  • David Eller

    I am pleased by this

  • eilegz

poor haitani its going to get bodied again by xian…

    • Christian Leory

Well, Haitani won the first set back then, but I hope he did hi homework on how to block Gen’s shenanigans..

  • Barlton Canks

    Xian vs haitani
