Hector Sanchez Announces Departure from NetherRealm Studios

By on November 15, 2013 at 9:43 am

Earlier this morning, producer Hector Sanchez announced that he will be parting ways with NetherRealm Studios. His most recent years with the company saw work on 2011’s Mortal Kombat, which enjoyed a fantastic run on the tournament circuit that included three appearances at Evo, and Injustice: Gods Among Us, the company’s most recent fighter based on the DC Comics universe.

We here at Shoryuken would like to thank Sanchez for the hard work he’s put into producing these fighters, and wish him luck on whatever his next adventure may be.

I still remember Aris having to explain to him how fuzzy guard works.. AT EVO. Good times..

Kinda weird to see people leave companies that are doing really well. I mean both MK and Injustice were just major profits after profits for the company.
