Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – “Knights Never Cry,” an Arthur Combo Video by Rikir

Rikir continues his series of fantastic Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 combo videos today with an installment focusing on Arthur. Arthur is one of the least used characters in UMvC3, a dedicated zoner that has limited tools when you compare him to other long-range fighters like Morrigan. Still, Rikir has a few tips to help you up your Arthur game, which you can read below the video.

Arthur Notes:

I made an effort to establish some of Arthur’s less used tools:

  • s.M has auto block frames so you can use it to armor through some attacks (Mid/High only)
  • Shield Counter reflects all low/mid physical attacks and in Gold Armor, actually reflects projectiles rather than absorb them. You should be able to combo off of this most of the time, some reflected projectiles even allow you to get a full combo!
  • Heavenly Slash is invincible of course

Little off topic, but in the Arthurian Legends, the Knights of the round table cry a lot. They even swoon (faint a bunch). All be it they are bad ass.

FGC PROS: I have to use effort? Low Tier!

    • $18011339

That’s why C. Viper, Magneto, and Morrigan are low tier; and Nemesis, Ghost Rider, and Sentinel are top tier.

      • Michael_Glade

this just shows how people dont know how tier lists are made

    • Girish Narayanan

      Morrigan? C.Viper? Zero? Magneto?

      • Patrick M

Well, to be fair, it really does seem like barely anyone plays C. Viper anymore because of how much effort you have to put in to hit her full potential.I didn’t see a single one in top 8 at CEO or EVO

  • Martini Whoelse

    I’m done.
