Not wanting to let the hype from Evo 2013 die down as we nurse ourselves back to competitive condition, Maximilian has compiled footage of what he considers to be the top five most hype moments of the event. The video features moments from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and King of Fighters XIII. Check it out and let us know what moments from Evo 2013 were your personal favorites.

Angelo M. D’Argenio A.K.A. MyLifeIsAnRPG got his start in the fighting game community as a young boy playing Street Fighter II in arcades down at the Jersey Shore. As president of Disorganization XIII, he travels the convention circuit presenting a variety of panels from discussions on gamer culture, to stick modding workshops, to fighting game comedy acts. He has a passion for looking at the fighting game community from an academic standpoint and has completed several studies on effective fighting game learning and the impact fighting games have on social circles. A six year veteran of the gaming industry, he also writes for Cheat Code Central and is a lead game designer for Ember Games. On Tuesdays, you can find him getting bodied by Chris G and getting mistaken for Seth Rogen at The Break.

  • This must be said. Don’t complain because anyone with a little bit of video editing skill can create something just like Max did. Did I agree with his choices? Of course not but we can have a difference of opinion. What I won’t do is bash him because he took the time to create this editing and all the like.

So don’t complain I suggest that if you disagree with Max then you do the same thing he did and I’ll gladly watch.

No TTT2? C’mon… TTT2 top 8 was hella hype, especially with Bronson.

    • Legion

Yeah this was ridiculous and may have something to do with Max dropping TTT2 immediately after release when he realized he was a scrub.

Bronson Tran Standing toe to toe with Korea’s best was amazing and if it was held on sunday he would have been taking from the area a hero. List top 5 was lame…
