The official Injustice: Gods Among Us Twitter account recently revealed that forty new S.T.A.R. Labs missions will be available early next week. The title originally came bundled with 240 of these missions, which offer unique challenges for players looking for a bit of fun outside of competition. That number will receive a bit of a bump with this update, with forty new missions (ten for each downloadable character released so far) added into the mix.

The new S.T.A.R. Labs missions are set to drop next Tuesday, July 23. They will be free for season pass holders, while those who opted out of that plan will have to drop $1.99 to get their hands on them.

I completed all of the STARS lab missions with three stars for my Flash, Lex, and Shazam costumes. They were a huge pain, and even though some were fun the novelty wore off after repeating similar challenges with different characters. Surely there is once again some type of reward?

I mean, I’m looking at this and thinking : “Why?”

Because some of these STAR lab missions are actually quite fun and it wouldn’t hurt to add a few more. I’m definitely sure it won’t be repeating and there possibly may be a reward for those who go far to complete these extra missions.

You get a Lex alt? What is it? All I knew about was Shazam and Flash. I got Shazam, but don’t know that I feel like working that hard for a character I don’t play.

It’s similar to his Insurgency costume, but prettied up with a few kryptonite crystals.
