Nyu-Media’s Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm fundraiser has moved along at a steady clip since it started last week, and recently surpassed its first milestone of $10,000. To commemorate this occasion, they have released two new images of returning characters Kou and Hanzou, which you can check out below. The donation drive currently sits at $17,142 with forty days left to reach its $68,000 goal, so be sure to check out their official Indiegogo page for details on how you can help them out.

Additionally, a brand new dynamic commentator was announced earlier this morning. Yatagarasu’s commentator tracks are unique in that they follow the action on screen, making each match seem like tournament footage by reacting closely to both fighters’ playstyles. The previous release included commentary from Japanese figures such as MCZ|Tokido, Kokujin, and KSK.

Nyu-Media revealed that none other than James Chen will be joining this group as the Attack on Cataclysm update’s first English commentator, bringing his own style of match analysis to the table. One can only hope that his signature puns will abound, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Finally, the Indiegogo page was also updated with information regarding the Japanese voice actor for Azure, one of Attack on Cataclysm’s new characters. He will be fleshed out by accomplished voice actor Kaji Yuki, who has previously lent his talents to the Attack on Titan anime series, Final Fantasy XIII, and more.
