Soooooooo….Are they planning on releasing a stick for the console people are actually going to buy?

    • PringerX

Yeah ofc, MS is most likely giving them money to just show off the 360 version

      • Petran79

anyone in their right mind would make those sticks work both for Xbox360/One and PS3/PS4 respectively.

USB isnt that hard to program after all.

    • JELIFISH19

Only if there are fighting games for it.

      • Flutterderp

That…is an excellent point. Did they announce any fighters for the PS4 yet?

  • Louis Lam

Legit question. How do you host fighting game tournaments on Xbox One? The set-up sounds really ridiculous when every single disc is linked to a single console especially when you get to larger tournament.s

    • Flutterderp

I was wondering the same thing?

And what if it’s a weekend long event? Don’t these consoles basically auto-brick on day two if you don’t have an internet connection for each and every one of them?

      • Arjay

I was wondering about this as well. How viable can the XBox-One be as a tournament system? I can’t help but think that periodic online checks and system specific copies of games would hamper the current tournament format. Can you imagine how much a hotel hosting a Final Round or an Evo could charge for 3 days of wireless internet use?

        • Flutterderp

Doesn’t bode well for a competitive KI scene, does it?

        • Mash Harder

With so many bodies in the room, Microsoft’s Xbone would count it as public performance and refuse the run the game anyways.

Unless you turn off the kinect… oh wait, you can’t.

        • JELIFISH19

I don’t think it will be that bad. You can play games for 24 hours without being signed in. And if that 24 hours runs out, someone can just create a hotspot on their phone and sign in. But 24 hours is a long time. No tournament lasts 24 hours. You can just sign in in the morning and be set for the whole day. If they do that, the tournament should run smoothly.

      • ReddChief78

Nope just can’t play online until you check in again probably can’t offline either not sure i read it somewhere

        • Mash Harder

          So.. they auto-brick then.

          • ReddChief78

I doubt it that would be just wrong but it is MS

    • ReddChief78

Don’t swap around the disc why would you anyways just keep the game with or in the consoles and make sure to check them in within 24 hrs what is it like around 5 consoles it wouldn’t be that hard

      • OrehRatiug

Since games are locked to console the real issue is making sure each console has those specific games connected to it, and since a lot of these consoles are lent out from community members it’d be a tad ridiculous to assume all those consoles would have every game to go with it. Even if they have separate console set ups for every game its a massive hassle.

        • JELIFISH19

But it’s nothing new to TOs. That’s the same problem DLC in fighting games presented. Some consoles might have Injustice characters while not having SFxT and some might have MK characters but not KOF13. But the F2P nature of this game might make it difficult depending on how Double Helix handles it.

          • ReddChief78

There will be a full version so thats a good thing i hope the TO’s figure out something KI gotta get some tournament time its a shame this game has to go through this

      • Justin Archer

        waste of time.

        • ReddChief78

Thats why your not a TO some people don’t think so but we will see

          • Justin Archer

      • Jake Klippert

Then you have to get every Kinect Sensor in the correct spot and calibrate them all in order to use the consoles. I can imagine what kind of hassle that could turn out being in some more cramped areas especially with a few consoles near each other.

It’s going to turn into a nightmare.

        • ReddChief78

Tournaments are already a nightmare thats why they have a staff KI is not a Kinect game so need for correct spots and calibrating lol and consoles are already cramped near each other do you have any idea what your saying or just typing anything to be a part of the conversation

      • DarkRiosIII

If I’m not mistaken games are installed to the machine, so there is no need to swap disks.

  • ragnarok954

I love the red and black it has to offer. I’ll buy the PS4 version instead when it drops.

  • mtbrandao

    Does Xbox1 even have USB?

  • rrcplus

It’s definitely a nice looking fightstick.

  • Should have been black and green for xbox.

    • Icy_Black_Deep

Then it would pretty much be a Razer Atrox.

  • $18114340

    That’s funny, there’s no camera on it…

  • Hayden Compton

    Does it play TV too?

  • MasterScrub

I’d buy this if it came out for the PS4. Which I hope happens, it would be a shame to see this go to waste on a console that isn’t gonna be at any tournaments ever, it looks SICK.

  • Quique

i wish sony keeps the ps3 TEs working for the ps4… i am really used to my arcade stick…

  • Teii Garrett

So they lied to me!? They it would be release with K.I., which will be released day one with the xbox one…so where the fuck is my K.I. stick pre order. =_=

  • undamned

Pretty sure a lot of these will be instantly modded and never connected to an XBone.

  • Mabans

From a design stand point, the aesthetics look cool. Love the use of translucent red.. Like the straps, a nice touch.. I just modded my stick with guitar strap buttons. So I can carry it around. Glad they took that into account with the design. makes it a nice difference when walking around with it.

  • Rahavic

    Is that an Atari controller?

  • NoChart

    Abandon ship, Madcatz! Abandon ship!

  • Brad Chanley

    looks nice

  • pootnannies

well at least it doesn’t have that ridiculous button color scheme. hopefully this can be used on 360 as well.

  • Amer1ka

It would appear that MS lightened up a bit on the whole ALL BUTTONS MUST BE THIS COLOR OR ELSE for the Xbox One. Either that or those screenshots do not represent the final product.and anybody who buys it will need to buy new buttons again to get rid of the ugly.
