Earlier this morning, some very interesting things appeared in Injustice: Gods Among Us’ downloadable content menu for season pass holders on Xbox Live. In addition to new Blackest Night and Red Son skin packs, a compatibility update was bundled with the Containment Suit Doomsday outfit. It seems as if this compatibility patch was meant to release with the game’s third DLC character, Scorpion, but somehow dropped early.
Downloading this compatibility pack will obviously unlock the Doomsday skin in your game, but will also make Scorpion available at the character select screen. Users on Test Your Might have reported that these accidental releases have caused a few glitches in the game, so proceed with caution if you want to try out the Mortal Kombat veteran or new skins for yourself.
Below, you’ll find images of Blackest Night Superman and Red Son Green Lantern, which were recently released on the official Injustice Facebook page. The Blackest Night skin pack also contains additional outfits for Doomsday and The Flash, while Hal Jordan is joined by Batman and Deathstroke in the Red Son 2 bundle. Like earlier packs, both come priced at 240 MSP ($3 USD).
