On May 30, Taito held a business conference in Tokyo for multiple titles heading to its arcade content distribution system NESiCAxLive. Some of the titles on display were The King of Fighters XIII Climax, Skullgirls, and CHAOS CODE -New Sign of Catastrophe-.

The King of Fighters XIII Climax

The King of Fighters XIII Climax includes the balance changes and additional characters of the console version of The King of Fighters XIII. The NESiCAxLive version uses a high-speed I/O interface, significantly reducing input lag. At this point it is undetermined whether any further game balance adjustments will occur. The title is planned for a late July 2013 release.

Autumn Games and Lab Zero Games’ Skullgirls is currently available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but will also be coming to NESiCAxLive in the near future. The build on display was not available for play testing, unfortunately. Skullgirls for NESiCAxLive (tentative title) will be receiving the additional characters planned for the console versions. The game is scheduled for an August 2013 release, but is subject to change.

CHAOS CODE -New Sign of Catastrophe-

CHAOS CODE -New Sign of Catastrophe- adds the boss character Kudlak-SIN as a playable character while giving existing characters new moves, but these are just a few of many points of interest for fans. CC-NeSiCA- also features reduced input lag, making the game easier to play than before. With a release date of June 6, it won’t be long before players in Japan will be able to try out the new version.
