German Battiston recently uploaded a quick tutorial on storing Guile’s Sonic Boom charges in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012. The video includes a handcam and slow motion view so you can get the exact timing of multiple charges down.

This confused me for a second til I realized we’ve been doing this since Hyper Fighting. Ya’ll kids just named it.

  • Beb0p

Nah, I’m pretty sure for all the years Street Fighter has been out, almost 50 years already that these guys found out some secrete kung fu shlt.

They should be awarded the nobel piece prize.

    • Justin Archer

      WOW you’re an arrogant douche.

  • I played with this guy several times. I don’t think it’s necessary the holy grail of secret Guile techniques, but I like how he explains it AND not everybody learned SF playing in arcades 20+ years ago.

    • Beb0p

Curious but how long do you believe people have to game in order to have enough skittles to show off?

      Would you say 100+ years, 50+ years, 30+ years, 20+ years, 10+years. 2+ months, 3+ weeks?

      • I don’t know to be honest. But I’m pretty sure people like you can prove they are complete idiots with just one post.

  • German Battiston

I actually started playing with SSF4…and I started with Sagat D:

I switched to Guile after being teared apart by a friend of mine (using Guile), I can safely say he’s an unworthy opponent now XD

    Thanks for the distribution 😛

    Charge partitioning?

    • TempBast

      No. Charge buffering.

  • Geoffrey Tasker

Hey…Jackasses, he’s not posting this like its secret tech no one knows about, nor is he posting it for those who know how to do it. read the title, its a tutorial, if you know how to do it you don’t need tutoring so bring yourself elsewhere.

    • German Battiston

      Yep, that’s about right 🙂

  • this is not really new but yea that’s how its done
