UPDATE – An archive of last night’s stream and results for the Injustice: Gods Among Us tournament have been added below.

The Level|Up crew has just gone live with this week’s installment of Wednesday Night Fights. In addition to regulars Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, tonight’s event will feature a special Injustice: Gods Among Us tournament presented by Warner Bros. and Twitch. While it’s incredibly early in the game’s life, the $2000 pot bonus should definitely make things interesting! Make sure to tune in and check out all the top players vie for their spot on the leaderboards, live from Super Arcade in Walnut, California.

To celebrate the return of Virtua Fighter to the Wednesday Night Fights circuit, LA Akira will be reinstating the Rising Star awards for new players who show dedication to the game, shelling out money from his own pocket in an effort to give the scene incentive to improve. The rookie who manages to edge out their fellow newcomers will earn a cool $50, provided the community fills the bracket with more than eight players. Think you got what it takes? Then head over to Super Arcade!

Feel free to visit the venue tonight or in the future if you’d like spectate or participate in any of the games available. The address has been included below.

  • when they throw shit at u just back dash

    • Stanley Seymour

The bad thing about backdashes is if yours is not invicible like Harley’s then you HAVE to commit to it and will eat a projectile if its to long. Glad to see the replays up and running, I’ve been looking for some Harley, Catwoman, Grundy and Aquaman combos that I can learn, great job to the players that came out of their way to enter. Can’t help but respect these men and women. 🙂

  • Sauron

Grundy was real hype as was all the matches I saw for the most part. Chat was into it too, I wish I coulda been in chat when EGP took 4 of the top 8 and the all EGP grand finals. I can only imagine the hate when jwong went out lol.

  • Stanley Seymour

Honestly, watching Deathstroke fight is so damn boooooooooring. My God, but everyone else was simply wonderful, but seeing someone play Slade seems to irk me to no end. Especially in an online environment.

  • There was also a VF Tournament too.

    1st: Denkai
    2nd: Gentlman Thief
