          • Andre Theriault

  • Langdon Herrick

Is MK v DC even worth five bucks? I think not.

  • HombreGranJefe

    Meanwhile, UMvC3?  Still $30.

  • Andre Theriault

WTF PSN is under maintenance. This sale is only 24 hours. I’m not able to download the games. Unfair.

    • Andre Theriault

Oh it’s on xbox live only?

      • Andre Theriault

        Fuck off

If you were a member of Playstation Plus, KOF13 and SSF4:AE were already free, so it’s not all bad for PS players.

          • It’s not really free. In reality, if you’re a PS plus member you’re actually paying more for both games. You have to “stay” a PS plus member in order to download a free game, if you stop paying, you no longer have access to those downloaded games.

          • Krys Blaney

Whereas with XBL you actually have to pay more than PS+ costs to stay subscribed to XBL. So your point is…?

I rock both consoles, don’t favor one over the other, just leveling the field a bit. Much as the online for XBL is better, the actual value per monthly payment is significantly greater for PS+.

          • the7k

PS Plus has given me KOFXIII, SSF4AE, Vanquish, NBA Jam, InFamous 2, Payday, Bioshock 2, Retro City Rampage, Little Big Planet 2, Double Dragon Neon, Dungeon Defenders, Mega Man 9 & 10, and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One… and I’ve only been a member for maybe 4 months now.

I’d have a lot of trouble matching that with $60.

Oh, and mother fucking Foosball 2012. Beat that shit.

  • Tom C

Hrm… I already have SSF4, then eventually got the DLC to add the new characters. I’ve actually been thinking that I want a digital copy because my disc inner ring is kinda chewed up and I’m afraid of it not working eventually.

Would this game be considered separate from my SSF4?

    • yes. Both SSF4 and SSF4AE are both read as the same game. I have copies of both games and all your accomplishments from one game carry over to the other.

  • On_Tilt

Bought SSF4:AE and KOF!  Time to hit the forums and learn how to play these damn games. Also ordered SFxT from amazon, since it’s cheaper new.

  • Both SFIV and SSFIV:AE are $10. Don’t really see the point of making them both the same price

  • CptPokerface

And here I was thinking I got Arcade Edtion at a steal at 14$. This just reminds me about how many fighting games I actually have. I’ve bought and played every game listed there( except MKvsDCU). I’m such an addict.

    • TwitchyGuy

For $4 bucks more, I’d take a physical copy over a digital one, every time.

      • Johnson Nguyen

Tell me about it. Though I got good deals on some PSN games, the PS4 isn’t going to be compatible with PS3 games (physical and digital) due to the radically different architecture. They’re not going to keep manufacturing PS3s in the future, and once my PS3 dies, I lose access to those games. Here’s hoping Sony comes up with a way to effectively emulate the PS3 games on the PS4 and I wouldn’t have to re-buy my games.

I wonder what’s in store for the Microsoft folks.

        • Crassly

Don’t worry, by the time they’ve stopped supporting your ps3, your computer will probably be powerful enough to play the games instead via emulator.
