Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – Frame 0 Team Hyper Combos

KsizzleMvC3 has uploaded a new Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 video that explores how team hyper combos work. With specific team setups, certain THCs will hit on frame 0. In simple terms, this means that you have to be blocking before the super flash to avoid getting hit by the THC, making them an amazing option on reaction. Only a few teammates, like Spencer and Wesker, create a 0 frame THC and even then they only do so with certain point characters.

This tech is, admittedly, old. In fact, it was originally mentioned in the vanilla version of Shoryuken’s MvC3 hyper guide.

However, Ksizzle has said that there is a lot more potential in this tech than people give it credit for. For example, you can do it during the super flash of Vergil’s swords and a 0 frame super is guaranteed to hit, even if Vergil was holding back.
