Director Kevin Tancharoen Releases Cast Photo from Set of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Season 2

Does the beginning of Mortal Kombat: Legacy’s second season in February still seem too far away? Well, the wait may get a little harder thanks to a recent Instagram post by director Kevin Tancharoen. While on the set, he managed to grab a photo with the principal members of the cast. This offers a great look at the returning characters as well as newcomers like Kung Lao and Shang Tsung, the latter of which is being portrayed by Cary Tagawa, reprising his role from the Mortal Kombat films of the 90s.

Make sure to catch the season premiere of Mortal Kombat: Legacy when it hits Machinima on February 17th.

  • Liu Kang in the left corner looks pretty sick.  Sub-Zero’s costume looks kinda strange, though.  Very Hockey-ish.

    I actually think this series would have worked better in line with the original trailer he made
    The MK universe is just a bit cartoonish to be pulled off with live actors would prefer a cgi film in that context
