The folks over at The On Blast Show recently sent over the archives from the latest installment of their Mortal Kombat podcast which, among other things, included a particularly lengthy interview with actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. While his career has spanned many years and includes a number of both television and movie roles (including Heihachi Mishima in 2010’s Tekken), he is perhaps most well-known by the community as portraying Shang Tsung in the first Mortal Kombat film.
Below, you’ll find the entire five-hour interview, split across a few videos to break them up a bit. Tagawa provides some unique insight into the film industry and entertainment in general, his history in the acting field, and what it was like to play the role of such an integral part of the Mortal Kombat universe, and much more. Like with earlier guests on the podcast, JamessMK covers a wide variety of topics, so everyone should find something interesting to enjoy.
If you are merely interested in the interview, feel free to skip ahead to around 1:21:45 in the first video to get started.
