PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale – Dante Empty Cancel Tutorial

Dante is one of the few characters in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale that can surpass the 159 soft AP limit. ProjectSeoul is here to show you how. The key is linking several of Dante’s “twitch” moves together, and the best way to do this is to make good use of empty cancels, which return him to neutral almost immediately after any ground move.

This still doesn’t give an answer to dante’s biggest flaw: How to make him safe on whiff?

”How to make him safe on whiff?”

How can you be safe if you whiff?

Most people can, you know, stop the string they are doing. Or turn around and attack in the opposite direction. All of dante’s strings can only go in one direction and are easily rolled around.

I think it’s supposed to be that way for Dante. It’d be a bit too much, given his other tools.

Kratos is able to attack behind him in his Square Square Square combo i think. I wish Dante had this too.

It’s fair that Dante should have at least one weakness, lol. Geez. We don’t want a complete Marvel incarnation again.

Awesome to have gotten my video posted on SRK! @google-76cab947324803288a36174a06bef5e0:disqus , there is nothing that Dante can do on whiff or when an opponent blocks.  Like Zach and Victor mention I think its a fair balance.  If that weren’t the case Dante could pin blocking opponents down too easily.
