Bakuhakubasugasu sent us an Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 combo video today showing off what he can do with his Shuma-Gorath/Spencer/Doctor Doom team. The synergy with this team is crazy. Even the first combo is a Thor killer and it starts with no meter. These combos are very practical so check it out if you would like to get some ideas on improving synergy with your own team. Be sure to check out the bonus clip at the end for a surprise that’s sure to raise a couple questions.

    THis video is really nice but can we have a combo video that does not include doom and/or spencer? I feel like almost every combo video has one or both characters.

      I was playing those characters before they were having their junks ridden on so can’t help you there buddy. Played Doom since the old Marvel days and I picked up Spencer because of dreads before that mumbo jumbo and 80k’s.

    As a nitpicking on practicalities, I can see Hidden Missiles not getting used all that often in the combos for real matches, since Shuma would very likely need them to actually get in. Still, extremely impressive synergy that makes Shuma’s corner godliness even more ridiculous. Inspiring stuff.

       I know what you mean but I never did really show any Shuma solo combos in the video. His combos alone can already one touch most of the cast already minus Thor/Haggar on certain kinds of hits. I don’t call hidden missiles much, I play more so a patient Shuma with Spencer grapple to hook them down from running away.

    So how did the bionic lancer keep going through Wesker at the end!?!?!

      I’ve seen this happen in a match on a stream in a tournament before and the announcers had no idea what happened and attributed it to bad luck.  Someone with the Vita version of UMvC3 should try this with hitboxes on; I have a feeling that it’s a wierd glitch where Spencer’s hitbox forms in such a way that it doesn’t hit wesker’s hurtbox at point-blank range.

      If you guys look carefully, he presses the P2 Playback just as he does the Bionic Lancer…hmm, what input could it be?

      It looks like hes crouching just as he passes over. Maybe the initial hitbox of the Lancer whiffs Weskers crouch?
