Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 – Rose Crumple to Ultra 2 Resets

ArtificialStar‘s latest video goes over a small piece of Rose tech in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012. It simply uses a jumping attack after crumpling the opponent, which puts them in a very brief juggle state. They can then be mixed up with Rose’s Ultra 2 afterward.

have you ever considered that you might look incredibly stupid whenever you type “dat” online?

      • eunsun

I think it’s cool. Keep typing “dat” Travis Lynn, communicate in whichever way you like.

It’s a shame landing Rose’s focus isn’t an all too common occurence. :(

work on the cr.MP > EX SoulSpark > level 2 focus. I managed to land it a few times in game.

People will be blocking this crossunder setup all the time. I guess you could delay the dash.. yo dat damidge Kappa

Is the cr.MP>EX SP> Lvl.2 Focus corner only?

“Hey you know that ultra thing we invented? That new high damage comeback move you get for free EVERY round? Let’s have some characters combo into it easily, others need a mixup to land it, and others who don’t get to use it at all ever! That’s sure to make a balanced and fair game!!”

–Ono, immediately after too many cups of saki

      “It’s spelled sake, not saki.”

      –Some random guy

      • eunsun

Yeah but that’s because everyone in the West pronounces it incorrectly. At least people spell it correctly based on that pronunciation.

  • RenegadeVA

Lol, rose is not a mixup character.

The first setup (off a raw focus) is a huge waste b/c the combo isn’t scaled enough to warrant a reset. If you have two meters, doing C.HPxx jab spark, FADC, C.HP, Drill will do a total of 400 or so.

The second is much better from a risk/reward stand point, but Rose only lands that combo 1 out of 100 matches.
