PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale – Ratchet & Clank Tutorial

Timic83tc recently posted a combination match+tutorial video for Ratchet & Clank in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. He plays a set and shows off some of the duo’s basic techniques. He believes that Ratchet is the best character in the game, after Sackboy received his nerfs. Ratchet can psuedo-infinite the opponent in a corner with throws, and can use his level 1 to put the opponent in an inescapable kill situation off a tech roll. That certainly seems powerful, but Ratchet does noticeably lack quick close-range moves.

Thank you for featuring this SRK!
Sorry I didn’t really go into much detail about the infinite in the video outside of just mentioning it, I hope people understand the idea of using the long range of the super to cover all options on wake-up :)

      they can’t jump during wakeup…

literally go into training, set the dummy to jump, and see how wrong you are.

If you’re close enough to them when they wake up, the large range of Ratchet’s vacuum gun will grab them if they jump, but if you’re at that close of range, they can roll past you.
