Street Fighter x Tekken’s ver. 2013 Update Scheduled for January 29th

Street Fighter x Tekken’s much requested patch will be released on January 29th of next year, according to Ayano’s new blog. The patch contains some major system and balance changes in order to help address a lot of the complaints leveled against the game since its release last March. While a mid-December release was announced back when the update was first revealed, this slight delay could mean they are implementing more changes than what we’ve seen so far.

In addition, Ayano also took the time to talk about tweaks to the throw system, gray damage, and quick combos. We’ll be sure to post that information as soon as we receive solid translations. Links to the previous changelogs have been included below for those of you who missed out the first time around.

    one thing id like them to change is the shaky camera. it excessively keeps panning up and down. making the whole thing feel unstable.

    It’s either PC users get updates for ver1.07 and 2013 patch at the same time, or they just get abandoned and get updates half a year later.

    The fuck is taking so long? I realize that there are still people that play this game, and I agree that they still need to fix these things, but damn man, that’s a loooooooong ass time from now; Especially for a game that will have almost been out for a year by that time. I dunno man, this is good and all, but it’s still annoying.

    I had much for fun with the $45 I got selling this game months ago then I would have had if I kept this shitfest. Highly doubt the patch will suddenly make the game enjoyable but on the offchance it does I’ll rebuy it for $20.

      After only playing it for a 1.5 weeks when it first came out, I traded in this game for $14 at Gamestop cause it was collecting dust. Used the credit to buy MK9 and I’m like OMG this game is sooo cool in it’s own unique/nostalgic way. Point being, my biggest regret was not having traded in this game any earlier.

    Traded this game in months ago (PS3) because it was ass. Got the Vita version a couple of weeks ago because I do intend to get it for PS3 again (inside the anniversary collection) and I wanted to play all of the new characters. The Vita version is pretty impressive. All of that content packed into a smooth running portable package. 

    Now all they need to do is release AE 2012 for Vita so I can forget about this game again.
