Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – “Nemo Special,” A Spencer/Doctor Strange/Nova Combo by Nemo and Kusoru

Nemo and Kusoru have uploaded a video showcasing a single, lengthy combo that begins off a Spencer corner throw. With 2 starting meters, a Spencer/Doctor Strange/Nova character order and all assists available, the combo does in excess of 1.25 million damage, enough to kill Thor, with a net gain of 1 meter. All the other cast members would not live long enough to see the finishing Spell of Vishanti.

This combo was initial conceived by Nemo and fine-tuned together by Nemo and Kusoru for even more damage. If you thought Nova, Doctor Strange and Spencer made a frightening team before, check out the combo below and be amazed.

    It’s LITERALLY, one touch and you’re dead. Especially with chars like spencer and Nova, it’s over. All it comes down to is execution. In a perfect world, it’s essentially one touch on three chars.

          As far as I can tell they seem to have a different choices in their go to characters/what characters are more feared.  At KVO last year you would see people snap out Wesker for Stryder rather than the other way around.  The players that do get known more in the states tend to have kind of wacky teams like Kusoru showing off Rocket Raccoon tech or Mame Spider making Spiderman look like a beast.  That is why I think Japanese tournaments can be more fun to watch after sometimes seeing the same teams over and over again in American tournaments.

      the dmg scale and hitstun is reset when you tag out
      that is why it does so much dmg and the character dont roll out the combo

         Hitstun is not reset. Impact palm and flames always have the same amount of hitstun.

    Hmm, pretty sure they could have gotten one more uvg with Spencer before supering and still had enough hitstun left to come out ahead damage wise with the FoF loops afterwards. Could have probably killed Thor without that extra super at the end.

    Still an amazing combo, lol.

      I don’t watch a lot of japanese players so I dunno how it goes for Nemo. But Combofiend hasn’t seemed completely hobbled at the loss of any of the characters when he’s running it. It seems like it stays pretty decent with any combination of two of the three to me. But then Viscants also way better than me so he probably knows something about why it isn’t I’m missing.
