While attending MLG Dallas, Gamespot’s Rod “Slasher” Breslau caught up with Team Najin’s Hyunjin “JDCR” Kim and Giuseppe “REO” Grosso of Kombat Network, Valley Stream Monsters, The On Blast Show, and Empire Arcadia to talk about their respective wins in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat. Both players achieved firsts during their dominant performances, with JDCR becoming the very first Tekken Tag Tournament 2 champion on the Major League Gaming circuit and REO taking the first back-to-back championships in Mortal Kombat.

First off, JDCR discusses the players he was looking out for in this tournament and how he would compare the Japanese and Korean communities.

Second, REO shares his thoughts on the overall level of competition in the Mortal Kombat portion of the event, Kabal’s status in high-level tournament play, and how he sees the community moving forward with Injustice: Gods Among Us and another year of competition on the horizon.
