Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus to Receive Expanded XBLA Release on November 9th

The download version of Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus was originally released on October 24th for XBLA (and one week later on PSN). With an initial release to just Japan, US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain, however, not everyone had access to the game. After numerous requests for an expanded release, director Takeshi Yamanaka announced that Arc System Works was discussing releases in Canada, Mexico and additional regions. Earlier today, Yamanaka announced on Twitter that GGXXACP will be available for XBLA in the following regions on November 9th:

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland (XBLA only)

The team is also planning releases in Oceania and Asia, but those particular releases may require additional time.

       It’s on PSN already assuming you have a Japanese account, which there’s really no reason not to. As far as the US release… “November”.

        I’m confused…when I read this game was hitting PSN on Nov 1 I thought that meant the US. I have a Japanese account to play Monster Hunter 3rd HD, but I don’t want to go to the expense of importing a Jap PSN $ card to buy GG. Is it going to come out in the US so I can use the funds I already have in my US PSN account?

          Slash became the tournament standard and it never even came out in the US. If you just want to buy a US copy of Accent Core, you have three systems you could be getting it on, or you could be patient for a few days.

          For the people who really care though, the game IS available on PSN.

          PS: Don’t buy a Yen card from Play-Asia. You can get a better deal elsewhere.

           What awesome Japanese games is PS3 getting that XBOX hasn’t been getting as well?  Honestly, the last TRULY awesome Japanese game I can think of off the top of my head that XBOX didn’t get was MGS4.

    Still waiting on the NA PSN release.  Cool for everyone in Europe for being able to get the game a lot earlier than they usually get to, but it’s really fucking lame that there is a functional release of this game for both consoles and yet only one is released outside of Japan.

      I just checked the site, they dont even have a price set for (NA)PSN yet and the funniest  thing is the version of GGXXAC+ being used is the PS2 ver.(XBOX get a PS2 game B4 PS3?The irony.)
