Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus PlayStation Network Release Date Pushed Back to November 1st; Launch Trailer Released

While confirmation came a few days ago that the North American release of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus on Xbox Live Arcade would fall on the same date as its Japanese counterpart, a similar announcement for PlayStation Network was notably absent. Luckily, a recent update to the Arc System Works website has cleared up the confusion, though the answer isn’t exactly optimal for those using Sony’s console. The PlayStation Network version of the re-release has been pushed back a week for undisclosed reasons, and will instead find its way to the platform on November 1st.

The announcement appears to pertain solely to Japan at this point in time, but common sense says this delay will also be applied to the North American release. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available, but for now take a chance to check out the port’s latest trailer.

UPDATE – The official Guilty Gear XX portal site has confirmed that the North American and European PlayStation Network releases will be made available sometime in November as well.

        Yeah but not on Xbox and PS3 plus with online play and the +R update later ive been waiting on this awhile myself

       I’ve kind of calmed down. Yeh, it’s just a week. But I’ve been itching to get my hands on this game and do some real labwork. I have the resources to buy, I just don’t want to wait. Plus most of my IRL friends play on 360 so its just damn time. I finally have to break down and buy one.

         Yeah, 360 got a $50 price cut recently. But $60 a year for XBLA.

          If you have Speedway gas stations in your area you can get their rewards card and cash them in for XBL and PSN cards. In the last year 18 months I got 3Soe, AE2012 update, JoJo’s, MK collection, KOF dlc. a buch of $5 PS1 capcom ports, the SFxT DLC, and some SSF4 costumes all for free.

        Just get a 360 man.  The best thing I ever did was pick up a PS3 after owning a 360 for quite some time.  I own a good PC, a 360 and a PS3 so now I can simply pick the best version of any game if it comes out on multiple platforms.  Capcom fighter?  360 of course!  Tekken game?  PS3 please.  A game like Borderlands 2 comes out on all 3 systems?  Hook it up on my PC.

        You’ll thank yourself later, trust me.

       Not only that, people with (previous) Sony consoles have had access to AC+ for a lot longer than this. Really doesn’t bother me at all.

        You can pay through Paypal and they email the code(s) a few hours later. They also respond to posts on their Facebook page if you haven’t received the code after a while. :D
