EsseX TheSinner recently posted this new video focusing on Evil Ryu in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012. The video shows several resets, cross-ups, fake cross-ups, and unblockables against much of the cast, both in and out of the corner. If you’re looking to give this underrepresented character some love, make it a point to check this tutorial out and see what he’s capable of.

  If you think option selects can be opted for like a flowchart in response to something not working, or that you can option select an option select, then you haven’t grasped the concept of what an OS is at all. It’s made all the more blatant by the fact that this video didn’t touch on OS to begin with.

    go play akuma and say that. it is a “flowchart” and isn’t impressive when speaking about OS in this game. you’ll be like “WOW” the first time you see it and then your like, “oh that wasn’t a read or a guess…” and lose interest.
    however, there were no option selects in this video so you’re right about that. this game is more about unblockable jump ins, hard kockdowns, and OS.
    anyways, cool video and i think e. ryu is a little under repped.

  Naruo, Sako, KOK, and Nagao are high level Evil Ryu players. There are a few good Evil Ryu videos and some tech that is coming out about him, he has a lot of potential, he just has a high skill barrier and isn’t easy to use properly and requires tight execution.

i still care more about SF than SfxT which is crappy, MvC3 which is too much hardcore & designed for an elite (endless combo, so fast you can’t see cross up/down, high speed button you end up with tendinitis). Only VF5 stands up i don’t really like tekken. Not talking about blazblue, skullgirls and the pletora of fighting games
