Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus PSN/XBLA Release Set for October 24th

At Tokyo Game Show 2012, Arc System Works announced that the PSN and XBLA version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is set for an October 24 release, at 1500 yen on PSN and 1200 MSP on XBLA. The release timing for the planned update to bring the console version up to the AC+R revision is still unannounced.

This is most likely referring to the game’s release in Japan, so we’ll keep you updated as more information regarding other regions becomes available.

I’m going to assume that you’re not being sarcastic, and this is an actual, legitimate question made out of excitement to gauge how many people share the same high amounts of enthusiasm for this game as you do.

I know right, Guilty Gear XX already came out on XBL several years ago, the only difference is a plus now? Might as well come with the option to be in black and white with static background.

I wanna play +R and UNIB so much right now :(

      Oh yes most definitely

    • BurstZX

       UNiB please.

  • zedk8

I didn’t really liked Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, so I would probably not enjoy this version either. I’ll just stick with GG: The Missing Link and GGX: Plus.

Unless you’re trolling, Accent core was sooo much better than reload.  Everyone is viable

shit i like slash and R# over Accent core, maybe because I play Anji

    • http://twitter.com/Excelancer Excelancer

Lol, I know someone who played Anji and thinks the same about Accent Core. No more auto armor D spamming

    • Ronald Torres

But Anji was ass in #R. He’s at least passable in AC.

    • http://twitter.com/Shin_Hogosha Michael Connolly

From what the Anji player here says, Anji got all his buffs from the older patch notes and then some for AC+R.

Oh really? Interesting…I once made a friend declare GG “bullshit” and never play it again by abusing Anji’s guard point attacks. Good times.

      • sibarraz

Is Anji viable in accent core plus? or  will be on +r?

  • traxus

    I’ll wait for the update.

That’s waaay to long from now. I mean damn, what could possibly require so much time that it takes basically all of October?

  • Zonder88

Dont really care, played this game a bajilion times on PS2. Dont know why they dont just release R instead.

    • Donovan Harris

So the arcade version gets enough play for the cabinet owners to make a profit.

it sucks the update comes later but GG on my PS3 with online play its a day 1 buy for me im good with that till the update

  • http://www.facebook.com/accelcore Vin Valentine

I wish the release date was actually September 24th.

  • http://www.facebook.com/MLO99 Mike Ortiz

Cant wait, for this and +R. I want them both.

  • http://www.squidoo.com/fightinggamesonline thec0re3@Fighting Games Online

I may just be hyping myself up but I’m pretty convinced that I’m going to be putting some real time into GG.  The big question is how many other people are going to be playing it.

  • Olof Fridh

It’s listed on the US Xbox site with a release date of 24 oct as well.

what a faggot ass move from asksys. knowing them, theyll probably ask money to upgrade it to R. you know what, everybody with an iq over 80 should just wait for R unless they say the update to R will be free.

    • http://www.facebook.com/DaiAndOh Andrew Greenberg

You know, they didn’t charge for the update to BBCS1->2 (buying the 3 characters was optional, nor was CS1 released before anyway). Nor does ACR have characters that aren’t in AC+ (Kliff and Justice were brought into AC+, but as bosses).

what a dumbass ”knowing them, theyll probably ask money to upgrade it to R.” um….
blazblue patches were free >.> cs1 to cs2

I have no problem whatsoever throwing as much of my money for Guilty Gear. Whatever increases the odds of a 3.
