PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Character Walkthroughs for Big Daddy, Raiden, Dante, and More with Seth Killian

Our old friend Seth Killian recently met up with IGN to demo some of the new characters in Sony’s upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Monday, he covered Big Daddy, Raiden, and Sir Daniel Fortesque. Today, he is taking on Dante and Sackboy and will be covering more characters as the week goes on.

    I hope 1v1′s will be more interesting, that looked and sounded quite bland for a 4 player FFA.

    Horrible. Only watched the raiden video, but he pretty much began a sentence then got caught up playing and didn’t say anything at all. Not going to waste my time with the others.

      Seems like the opposite to me. The simple few button Smash controls with the traditional combo system makes the game look extremely bland, but the super move system is designed well against camping in free for all.

    I got to play this at E3… And I have to say that it doesn’t “feel” as crisp as Smash Bros. Feels very stiff.

    I can’t wait until IGN rates this game 11 out of 10 and calls it the best game since Evel Kineval’s 3D stunt rider; then immediately induces it into it’s hall of fame, right between Jurassic Park: Trespasser and XTREME Paintball.

    Fuck dmc reboot dante, his combos cannot TOUCH the dmc series or his mvc3 version.

    Interactive stages should NEVER be in a fighting game.  Stages must be:

    -flat perfectly even floors, no varying terrain
    -no hazards or items that can be used to one’s advantage
    -no distracting elements that can hamper serious tournament players

    This shit isn’t even a real fighting game.  Why is it on this site?

         How is he wrong though?  Imagine playing Tekken 7, and you’re on some rooftop stage and in the background there’s snipers with guns shooting at different parts of the stage, and you can pick up knives and baseball bats to beat up your opponent, and on top of all this you can smash open crates for health packs.  That would be fucking WRONG, and the game would NEVER get into EVO.  Know what would happen if it was shown onstream?  Mike Ross would fucking laugh at the game.  Laugh at it.

      Fighting Game =/= Competitive Fighting Game. Even if it turns out to be really horrible, it’s still a fighter.

         If a fighting game isn’t competitive, it serves no purpose and ceases to be a fighting game.  It becomes a “brawler beat em up”.

      You’ve never played Aggressors of Dark Kombat have you??? Or better yet, you haven’t played the 2 player vs mode of Double Dragon or Streets of Rage??? Bushido Blade??? Destrega??? Max Anarchy??? All are fun games with the majority of what you don’t like about them… 

      Aside from that, define “real fighting game”…
